6. Sale, Sharing & Targeted Advertising

Perplexa Labs does not sell personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. However, we use digital advertising and measurement technologies. Certain disclosures of identifiers, website activity, commercial information, or advertising data to advertising platforms may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or processing for targeted advertising under applicable state privacy laws even when no money is exchanged.

These disclosures may include online identifiers, IP addresses, cookie identifiers, device identifiers, internet or website activity, product-view activity, conversion information, commercial or purchase-related information, and inferences regarding interests. Recipients may include advertising platforms, analytics providers, advertising-measurement providers, and marketing technology providers.

Where applicable law gives you a right to opt out, you may exercise that right through our Your Privacy Choices link or other privacy control available on our website. Perplexa Labs does not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals we know are under 16 years of age.

Opting out of advertising-related sharing does not prevent disclosures necessary to process your order, process payment, ship your package, maintain website security, prevent fraud, provide customer support, or comply with law.

9. Global Privacy Control

Where required by applicable law, Perplexa Labs recognizes valid Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signals as requests to opt out of sale or sharing for the browser or device sending the signal. A GPC preference may need to be enabled separately on each browser or device you use. Where applicable law requires an authenticated user's preference to be applied beyond the specific browser or device, we will process the request accordingly.

10. Do Not Track

Some web browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") setting. Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to traditional DNT signals, Perplexa Labs does not currently respond to DNT signals in a standardized manner. However, where required by applicable law, we recognize qualifying Global Privacy Control or other legally recognized opt-out preference signals as requests to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

Third-party advertising, analytics, and measurement providers may collect information about your activities on our website and, depending on their technologies and your privacy choices, across other websites or online services.

11. Email Marketing

Perplexa Labs may use your email address to send product announcements, promotions, special offers, educational or research-related content, company news, and other marketing communications. Marketing emails will provide a method to unsubscribe. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link contained in our marketing emails. We may maintain your email address on a suppression list after you unsubscribe so that we can continue honoring your request.

Opting out of marketing email does not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or relationship communications such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, delivery updates, account security notices, customer-support responses, and policy or service notices where appropriate.

12. SMS and Text Message Marketing

Perplexa Labs may offer SMS or text-message marketing. We will obtain any consent required by applicable law before sending marketing text messages that require such consent. Where you opt into SMS marketing: consent is not a condition of purchase; message frequency may vary; message and data rates may apply; messages may be sent using automated technology where disclosed at the time of consent; and you may revoke consent or opt out as permitted by law.

You may generally reply STOP to marketing messages to unsubscribe. You may also use other reasonable methods of revoking consent where required by applicable law. After an opt-out request, we may send a limited confirmation message permitted by law confirming that you have been unsubscribed.

Providing a telephone number solely for checkout, shipping, delivery, account security, or customer support does not by itself constitute consent to receive marketing text messages where separate consent is required. Transactional or informational text messages relating to an order may be treated separately from marketing messages as permitted by applicable law. 13. Transactional Communications

We may use your contact information to send communications reasonably necessary to provide products or services you requested, including order confirmations, payment notifications, shipping confirmations, FedEx tracking information, delivery notifications, customer-support communications, account security notifications, return or refund information, and Shipment Protection updates. Marketing preferences generally do not prevent us from sending communications reasonably necessary to complete or administer an existing transaction or account relationship.

14. Fraud Prevention and Security

We may process personal information to detect, investigate, or prevent payment fraud, account takeover, unauthorized transactions, chargeback abuse, refund abuse, false shipping claims, duplicate reimbursements, promotion abuse, identity fraud, website attacks, and other suspicious or unlawful activity. Where reasonably necessary and legally permitted, relevant information may be disclosed to payment providers, financial institutions, FedEx, fraud-prevention providers, insurers, ecommerce platforms, law-enforcement authorities, and other parties involved in investigating the activity.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards may include encrypted website connections, secure payment processing, access controls, security monitoring, fraud monitoring, restricted access to customer information, and established technology and service providers.

No website, electronic transmission, database, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

16. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary and proportionate to the purposes described in this Policy. If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"), applies to Perplexa Labs, California residents may have rights including the right to know categories of personal information collected; the right to access specific personal information; the right to know sources of personal information; the right to know the purposes for which information is collected, used, sold, or shared; the right to know categories of third parties receiving information; the right to delete; the right to correct; the right to opt out of sale or sharing; the right to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; and the right not to be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. 20. California Disclosure for the Preceding 12 Months

During the preceding 12 months, depending on the advertising and analytics technologies enabled on our website, Perplexa Labs may have shared identifiers and online identifiers, internet or electronic activity, commercial information, and inferences regarding interests or preferences with advertising, analytics, attribution, and marketing technology providers for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, measurement, or attribution. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

During the preceding 12 months, we may also have disclosed identifiers, contact information, commercial information, transaction information, internet or electronic activity, customer communications, and verification information to service providers or contractors for business purposes including payment processing, order fulfillment, FedEx shipping, fraud prevention, website operation, analytics, customer support, email delivery, SMS delivery, security, and professional services.

Perplexa Labs does not have actual knowledge that it sells or shares personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes of inferring unrelated characteristics about consumers.

21. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of other U.S. states may have additional privacy rights where applicable, which may include rights concerning access, correction, deletion, data portability, sale, targeted advertising, profiling, sensitive data, consent withdrawal, and appeals. We will process qualifying requests in accordance with applicable law.

22. Non-Discrimination

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Exercising your privacy rights will not result in unlawful denial of products or services, different pricing, reduced service quality, or retaliation. This does not prevent lawful discounts, loyalty programs, promotions, or other programs permitted by applicable law.

23. Children's Privacy

Our website and products are intended for individuals 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly solicit purchases from individuals under 21. We do not knowingly collect online personal information from children under 13 in violation of applicable law. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child contrary to applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
