In the literature
Cited across published research on peptide stability, receptor interaction, and biological signaling.
Lab settings
Examined in vitro and in preclinical models. Studies focus on molecular properties under controlled systems.
Non-therapeutic

5-Amino-1MQ (5-amino-1-methylquinolinium) is a small-molecule selective inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT). NNMT catalyzes the methylation of nicotinamide using S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) as a methyl donor; inhibition of NNMT is referenced in research literature on methylation-pathway signaling, metabolic-pathway research, and cellular methyl-group economy.
Each Perplexa lot is independently HPLC-verified at ≥99% purity with identity confirmed by mass spectrometry.
